Terry Garrett
Terry is a resident of Lawrence KS
with over 14 years of professional accounting experience. He graduated from the University of Kansas in 2002 and became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in 2003.
His firm, Terry M Garrett CPA , was established in 2004. Terry specializes in business / individual tax planning and preparation and small business start-up consulting. He is actively involved in several professional and local public service groups. He is also the Treasurer of Cooper’s Cause Foundation, a local charity.
In his free time, Terry enjoys spending time with family and watching KU Basketball and Kansas City Royals Baseball.

Laura is a Tax Senior with Terry M. Garrett, CPA and a resident of Lenexa, KS. Laura graduated from the University of Kansas in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting and in 2011 with a Master of Accounting degree.
She became a Certified Public Accountant in early 2013. Laura specializes in individual and small business tax preparation and tax planning as well as small business payroll services. She is involved in a local BNI chapter, OP 23, and holds the Certified Public Accountant seat in the group.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and supporting KU Basketball, the Kansas City Royals, and Chiefs.
